Create your own ice pack for 3 $ and physical therapy
A wonderful trick in rehabilitation is an icepack made of a gallon zip lock bag and Karo Corn syrup. You need 2 zip lock bags and a bottle of Karo Corn Syrup. The ice pack can help with inflammation, swelling, and pain. Ice packs should not be used longer than 30 minutes at a time and should not be used if there is a contraindication (restriction for use medically) for use.
This bottle at Target is listed at 2.69$. You pour this out into the gallon zip lock bag then you cover it again for a protective barrier.
The ziploc bags are listed from Walmart for at 4$. So that is about 14 cents per bag if there are 28 of them as listed.
So the total cost is about 3 dollars. You place it in the freezer and it forms into a perfect ice pack that is malleable. It forms perfectly to any area of the body.
